I was so excited to see Daisy give birth. I told my in-laws to call me no matter what – day or night when she went into labor. As luck would have it I got called around 10 a.m. I came equipped with my camera and this is what resulted – photo journalism of the amazing event. Birth is truly beautiful. - It all starts when the water breaks and the sack starts to hang out

- Next, the cow lies down and you start to see some hooves

- Then the head starts to poke out

- And the rest of the cow keeps on coming

- Until there’s all but the back legs

- At this point, Daisy stopped pushing and stood up. We were worried she would hurt the calf if she tried to lay down again

- So hubby went over and gave the calf a little pull

- And he just fell out – that’s right it’s a bull!
