Positive Affirmations Printable

I’m a believer in optimism. In my own life, being an optimist has made me happier and healthier. I come from a long line of women who get horrible stomach aches due to stress (among other things). When I was in high school, these stomach aches were almost constant. But slowly, as I learned a few coping mechanisms (one of which was positive thinking) my stomach aches went from daily, to weekly, to monthly, and now I rarely have them at all.

I want my daughter to be optimistic and happy. I think she’s the coolest kid ever, and I want her to think the same thing. So I put together a positive affirmation printable. The plan is to hang it in her room. It’s full of statements that I want her to believe and know. If you like it feel free to right click, save, and print. It’s all yours. Oh, and P.S. I love when you comment! It makes my day :)

P.S.S I’ve got my first ever give away coming up soon! So so exciting :)

  1. This is a great Affirmation! Thanks for sharing it! I believe when we are able to live such positive statements a great amount of power comes into our lives not only from the Spirit, but from a healthy love from ourselves that we have.

    • Amber Mae says:

Thanks for the comment Jayrod! You are so right :) The trick is to really believe statements like this.

  2. Wonderful! Printing for my daughter’s room now!

  3. I love this printable. I need to see these things as well as my daughters (and I suppose my sons, too, but maybe not quite so cutesy). I hope it is okay if I pinned it. http://pinterest.com/pin/113786328055563049/

  4. Elizabeth says:

This is GREAT! I have 4 sons, do you have one for boys?

  5. I saw this on FB and I LOVE it!! My first thought was this is going in my daughters room! then I immediately thought I need one for my son also!! I see you have a few requests for one, I hope to see one!

  6. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. I can’t wait to put it up in my girls room!

    • Amber Mae says:

      Thanks Tami,

I feel honored that it will be in your daughter’s room :) I hope it helps her feel special and important.

  7. Thank you SO much for this!! I have three little girls and think in this world where everyone is trying to tear girls down and make them feel ugly and unimportant, this is SO wonderful for them to hear every day. Thank you!

    • Amber Mae says:

      Thanks Tia,
I agree. My daughter is still really small, but I worry every day about her and about how to lift her up above the world. Good luck with your three daughters!

  8. Tammie says:

I love this, but want to make it in a different color and maybe to put on a canvas. Just wondering if you are willing to share the fonts you used?

  9. Tausha says:

This made my day! Thank you for sharing.

  10. Holli Archer says:

So, I just wanted to comment and leave a big THANK YOU for this printable. Long story short, my mom is in charge of her RS lesson this week and wanted to address the sisters about all being “Daughters of a King.” It wasn’t coming together for her, until I caught this on my FB feed and sent it to her. She told me I was an answer to her prayers, but I wanted to let you know it was really you!!! Thank you SO much for sharing your talent and letting us in on it. Made our week a lot easier!

    • Amber Mae says:

Wow, Holli, thanks for sharing that story with me. I’m so glad it helped :)

  11. So beautiful, thanks so much.

  12. Tasha Miller says:

This is great, I am printing out for each of my 3 daughters and hope that they take it to heart.

  13. I agree with this 100%!
A daughter of a king isn’t too shabby, eh!?
Thanks for sharing at the link party…
…My first give away is coming soon toooo…I’m nervous:)

    • Amber Mae says:

      Thanks Nelly,
Good luck with your giveaway! I’ll make sure to stop by for it :)

  14. Angie Ayers says:

I don’t believe in plagiarism of any kind! I don’t know you, but I support original ideas, and people. I just blasted the AU company a little on facebook and pointed people back towards your site. Not a lot but it’s something!!!!!! Good luck!

    • Amber Mae says:

Thanks so much. I love when people find inspiration from my work, but it seems like the poster she’s selling is more of a copy than inspiration.

  15. Gaylyn Shoemaker says:

I am so sorry that someone took your beautiful work and stole it. Don’t let them ruin it for you though…let go and let God. Think of all the good you have done and all those you have touched for good! I read somewhere that when you hold a grudge, you give someone permission to live in your head rent free….Learn from it, but don’t let it scar you. Best of luck and thank you from someone who really was touched by your beautiful work! A sister in Christ

  16. Do you sell the prints? If so, where can I purchase them?

    • Amber Mae says:

      HI Peggy,
I don’t sell the prints yet, but I’m working on putting something together. I’ll let everyone know on my Facebook page as soon as I have it done. Thanks for the interest :)

  17. Ctystal Bliss says:

I LOVE this! I found it on pinterest. I have 3 girls and I want to print this off and put it in their rooms (and mine) I think we forget how wonderful we are. This is a good reminder of how stron we really are.
PLEASE let me know when we can purchase your prints. I LOVE this!

  18. I saw this on Pinterest and fell in love – what a beautiful gift for any girl at any age. I’m printing out two for both my girls, thanks!

  19. Love, love, love this!!!! Thanks!

  20. I just got hired on a fire department and start next week. I’m going to print this, frame it, and hang it in the room where I’ll get dressed every morning. Thank you for making it printable for all of us.

  21. Ann Williams says:

Thank you so much! I love your blog….God bless!

  22. Brittany P. says:

Thank you so much for creating this. I saw it on Pinterest, and immediately repinned. The best part about it is the fact that I really needed to see this today.

  23. A friend posted this on FB today, and I love it so much that I started searching for where I could buy it. All of the rabbit trails led back to you, and now I find out it’s free? What a huge blessing! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to put this in my daughter’s room. It says so many things I want her to ponder in her heart as she grows up. (And her Mom needs to remember them as well.) You’ve blessed many people with this. Thanks!!!

  24. Mrs. Hanson says:

I just got a job teaching at a brand new Christian school. My class is small, only 4 students, all girls in grades 4-7. I plan to hang this up in my classroom as an inspiration to them. Thanks!

  25. My best friend was paraylized in a car accident on April 25th this year. She has recently come home and is coping with learning how to be a mom in a wheel chair to her two young children, watching her husband being totally overwhelmed, and feeling helpless to do much of anything at the moment. Before the accident she was incredibly vibrant and independent. This week I went to her house and was broken hearted as I listened to her cry about all these feelings of inadequecy. SHe is also struggeling with what her purpose is and how she can be of any good now. I say all this to say that the words on your little poster really touched my heart as I think of my friend, Casey. I am printing it for her in hopes that she will be encouraged and be reminded that God really does have a plan for her precious life.

  26. So beautifully written……thank you so much! With all the pressures on kids these days and the negative influences from the media, they desperately need these positive statements ! :-)

  27. My daughter is struggling with Anxiety right now…her first day of Junior High was 3 days ago. She has been in a constant state of panic, with the stomach aches and sweating and insomnia. She is suffering. Love this printable! Thank you! We work on positive thinking every night.

    • Amber Mae says:

Your daughter is lucky to have a mom who will support her through this. Good luck and God bless.

  28. I help to lead a women’s Bible study and I’m printing this for the ladies in my group. We’ve shared so many times about how we need to remember who we are in Christ and this is just a great thing that we can tape to our bathroom mirror so that we are reminded daily!! Thank you.

  29. Holly Alexander says:

. As a young girl I know what is like to have a bad self image. At times I hate my self, I dont know why, I just do. Sometimes I dont like the way my body looks or the way my hair looks. Some days my skin looks everything but great and my eyes are too green. I’ve come to know this train of thought to be the crazy roller coaster ride called being a teenage girl.No matter how many times I’m complimented or praised it can never make up for the few times Ive been picked on and teased for my looks or accent or crazy and random hobbies. But I have found my way to stay strong – God. Im proud of every single one of my flaws . Rather its my sometimes crazy hair or my broke out skin, I love it because its me! I am unique and beautiful not because I’m perfect, but because I am flawed. That is what makes me the person I am today. Im proud to be me because I am the only me! Im 14 and I wanted to Thank you for this!

    • Amber Mae says:

I wish I could say that everyone loses their self-esteem issues when they get older, but it’s not as easy as growing out of it. I’m so happy to hear that you are taking the matter into your own hands and relying on God to help you feel good about yourself. You are beautiful and amazing because you are His daughter!
      God bless,
      Amber Mae

  30. Thanks a lot!!! its beautifull!!!

  31. Thank you SO much for this! It’s beautiful! I’m printing it out for my room right now! I love it!

  32. Thank you so much for this! I have been looking for something to use for our Relief Society Activity “Daughters of a King” and this just pulled it all together beautifully. I want to print this in a 5×7 size and give it to each beautiful sister. Do you sell them yet? If not, is it okay for me to print and hand out a copy to each of them? Again, thanks for this…I LOVE it!

    • Amber Mae says:

      Hi Krista,

As long as you’re not selling your prints, you’re good. Feel free to make as many copies as you like. Thanks for the sweet comment and I hope your activity goes wonderfully.

  33. Hello. I’ve only read a few of your art pieces and i want to thank you for sharing your creativity and beautiful spirit with the world. The quotes and msgs are uplifting. :) much love.

  34. Christine says:

thank you so much. this is beautiful!

  35. Keisha N Cosby says:

    I love this! Thanks!

  36. Thanks so much for the free printable! I’m printing and framing copies for the middle school girls I volunteer with as Christmas gifts. Goodness knows they need these reminders every day!

  37. Awesome! Found it on Pinterest. Printing this up for my house. I have 3 little girls. We all need the reminder!

  38. We are having a thrifty Christmas this year, but one filled with love and Christ. Thank you for this printable. I hope to find some lovely thrifty frames to paint for my daughters bedrooms, and to put this in each. Thank you.

  39. Gretchen Child says:

I am trying to print these out in size 5×7 but it is cropping the sides making some words cut off when they are in the frame. Is there any way to adjust that?

    • Hi Gretchen,

The printable is designed to be printed in 8 x 10. There’s no way to print it in 5 x 7 without messing with the proportions and stretching it out funny.

  40. This is beautiful and perfect. I pinned it a few months ago knowing the perfect YW lesson would come along. Tomorrow, while discussing the Godhead, we will be focusing on who you are and you can become. I’m so excited to share this with the girls. Thank you so much for making and sharing it!

  41. Thank you so much for sharing your talents! I am sharing this with my YW girls, and think it will be the perfect point for my lesson. You are amazing, thank you!
