Thank You For the Prayers

Hi everyone,

It’s been a crazy few weeks. We still don’t have any solid news about little lion (new nickname for baby), but we do have some good news. She got her first tooth! That means that if she does have pituitary dwarfism she’s only partially affected by it. We’re breathing a big sigh of relief as her teeth pop up.

We’re still waiting on pins and needles but throughout this whole ordeal we’ve been immensely comforted, and I know part of that has been due to your prayers. So here’s a heartfelt thanks to everyone who’s been thinking about us and praying for us.

I have a testimony that prayer works. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to my Heavenly Father and received comfort, instruction, and overwhelming love.

Life never slows down – we had another family death just last night – but through everything He is there waiting for us to pour out our hearts to him.

Thank you again and God bless.

  1. I’m so happy to hear that your baby got her first tooth! Soon she’ll be running around like the little lion she is showing everyone a mouthful of sharpie and smiling the entire time. She’s such a beautiful little girl. And I’m grateful that her condition isn’t as bad as it could be. Hopefully this was an answer to other prayers you’ve had about what to do next. :D

  2. Hey Amber! What a mixture of emotions! I’m so happy for your little one’s progress, and I will keep her in my prayers. Would you like for me to add y’all to my
“Prayer Line”? I am so sorry for your loss. I never really know what to say in this instance. ” I have always disliked the cliche ” it will get better”, because it doesn’t we just learn to cope with their absence better. I still mourn my mom’s passing in 1968. Another is “at least we know they are in a better place”. How do we KNOW THAT, without being there? We may believe they did, but when we are hurting that doesn’t help. Anyway, my prayers are with you and your family. I pray that God will give you comfort and peace during your time of sorrow. I may sound strange, but I also believe that while we mourn their passing in this life, while we miss their physical presence next to us, we should rejoice in the spirit, having faith that they are with the Lord. They have accomplished their ultimate goal.
    Love and Prayers,
